Takamine Acoustic/Electric Guitars
In 1978, Takamine began introducing acoustic/electric guitars to the marketplace. The guitars grew to be a force in the flat back guitar market. The good word about Takamine was spreading and musicians worldwide couldn't wait to get their hands on one.
Takamine also pioneered the slider control preamp style for the acoustic/electric guitar. At the time, no other guitar company had the advancements in technology that Takamine had set in place. Even to this day, not many guitar companies can achieve the level of quality that Takamine puts into their guitars.
