Vintage Fender Bass Guitars
Fender had another smash hit with their first fretted electric bass... the Precision Bass. Even toady, it is the standard by which all basses are judged. Early Precision basses (late 1951 to mid 1957) are good collectibles, but not as much as the models from mid-1957 to mid-1959 that had the split coil pickups, aluminum pick guards, and beautiful maple necks. Early Jazz basses with concentric tone and volume knobs are also very collectible as well.
